A Mild Winter...

This Winter has been an abnormally warm one. Even though it is still pretty cold it is warm in Colorado Winter standards, which means being able to play outside bundled up in jackets, hats, and gloves. We also haven't had very much snow. For us this "warm" Winter is exciting because we enjoy relishing in the beauty that is the great outdoors. Kyle is making plans for backpacking excursions, camping trips, and white water rafting this Summer.

Since it has been so nice we try to get outside as often as possible. Kyle is really great about getting the boys outside to play. I try but I am better at the art project, crafting, and indoor fun even though I enjoy being outside too. When Kyle gets the boys outside he especially loves taking the boys fishing. Kaden recently caught his first fish, and Kaleb caught his first fish without assistance from his Daddy.
Before we went fishing we met Kody and his Mama Krystal at the park to play
for a bit. Kody calls my boys his "buddies" and we have been getting to hang
out with them a lot since we moved back. They are all so cute together!

Part of the pond where we were fishing at was frozen over.
I look at my boys and I can't believe how big they are getting.
