Green is my favorite color. It is the color of all my most favorite men's (big man and little men) eyes and the color of my house. So naturally I enjoy St. Patrick's Day.
We had a very green filled day. Starting off the morning with a trail of gold candy that our Leprechaun friend, who I named Luey, left for the boys to follow. At the end of the trail was a green pot full of more gold candy :) Then we had green milk for breakfast paired with Leprechaun food (aka Lucky Charms, which they only ate the marshmallows). We got dressed in or green garb and headed to the parade (we picked up Aunt Laura on the way), where we saw even more green. In addition to the green we saw dancing gorillas and cows, clowns, classic cars, low riders, bands, unicycles, cheerleaders, horses, bagpipes, dogs, rodeo queens, random Irish belly dancers, politicians...lots of politicians, Irish dancers, rainbows and a whole lot of St. Pat's Day spirit.
