A house full of blessings...

First off I have to say I am sorry for my absence lately and my lack of posts on a regular basis. I have been so busy that I am ready for life to slow down a tad. I told Kyle the other day that I sometimes liked it better when our life was simpler and something wasn't always going on, but I also feel blessed to be able to do the things we do and be surrounded by the amazing people we have in our lives.

Quick family update:

Kyle has been busy working and traveling all over. His most recent trip sent him to Houston (got to hang out with some friends), San Diego, and LA. He gets to do some sightseeing while he is on his trips and scopes out places for us to visit in the future. When he is at home he has been tinkering with his new toy...a fishing boat. I think he is really looking forward to this summer and getting to take the boys out on the boat and do some fishing.

Kaleb is a busy little guy. He is going to preschool 4 days a week in the mornings. We had his parent teacher conference today and his teacher told us that he is doing wonderful and she is very happy with where he is academically. Kaleb goes to gymnastics every Thursday and is getting better each week. We might have a future gymnast on our hands. He is naturally strong and picks up new skills quickly. I just signed him up for summer t-ball too...we are really looking forward to that this summer.

Kaden is just as sweet as ever. He is still at home with me, but we are looking to start preschool in the fall most likely. Kaden has such a great vocabulary and already has great conversations with us. I think he will definitely be ready for school two days a week. He goes to gymnastics too each week and has a ball. Kaden too is very coordinated and catches on to things quickly just like his best buddy his big brother.

As for me I am busy trying to do everything. On top of a part time job I am trying to build my portfolio and start a photography business. I have always been passionate about photography and look forward to growing and learning skills to become better at what I love doing. Kyle and I are taking a trip to Europe next week and I can't wait to post pictures from our travels!!

I am finally posting some pictures of our first home that we moved in at the end of November. Things have come together and I am getting the house to how I want it to look, but still have so much to do. We are currently working on getting the yard to come back to life. Since our home was a short sale, the yard was in desperate need of some lovin'. I feel so blessed to have this beautiful home and even more blessed to have the men (big and little) that live in it with me:)
