Vegas Vacation: Day 2...

I failed to mention that the whole reason we came to Vegas in the first place was for my sister's 21st birthday, which was back in February but my Grandma Laura sadly passed away the same day as her 21st birthday so we had to reschedule. Now not only do we look at this trip as Laura's 21st bday celebration, but a girl's weekend celebration and we all firmly believe that my Grandma was right there partying next to us. She would have loved to go to Vegas with us.

Anyhow, Day 2 was awesome in Vegas. We started the day out at the Treasure Island spa. It was so relaxing and pretty much amazing. Each of us chose different treatments at the spa. Some got manis and pedis, others got facials, but I chose a massage. Someday when I can afford it, I will be getting a bi-monthly massage:) After the spa we got ready and went to lunch at Margaritaville, where I enjoyed a delicious frozen strawberry margarita. We shopped a little after lunch and saw some more sights. Before starting our first night on the town we rested a bit and then got ready for our first activity on the night's agenda...going to see a Cirque de Soleil Mystere. Let me tell you if you go to Vegas, go see this show. It was ridiculously good and totally worth it. After the show we grabbed some dinner at The Bellagio and got a few drinks before heading to The Bank. The Bank is this amazing club at The Bellagio. It is unlike any club I have been to before and very Vegasy (definition of Vegasy would be something you can only find in Vegas). The design of the club was soooo neat and I literally danced the night away. I don't think I got off the dance floor for 3 hours. The music was sooo good...it was good song after good song after good song. I think all the girls had a fun time there. We didn't get home that night until almost 5. Such a good night!
