It took us a good 45 minute drive up a winding and narrow road, but we reached the top of the mountain where the breathtaking village of Gourdon perched. Gourdon was the epitome of a quaint and charming French town...cafes with people sipping on espressos, boulangeries with the smell of fresh baguettes wafting out the door as you walked by, a stone church with chiming bells, cute shops with amazing textiles and beautiful and handcrafted pottery, homes with colorful shutters and blooming flowers everywhere, and even a herd of sheep nibbling on long green flowing grass. This was one of my most favorite places we visited on our trip this time and the views were not disappointing either.

Tiny walkways
Love all the colorful shutters
Loved this guy...he was one of the shop owners. By looking at him you might think it was freezing out with his hat, coat, and scarf, but really it was in the 50's and pretty nice out. French men are so stylish!
