Going Coastal...

After leaving Marseilles we made our way East along the French Riviera. The coast in the South of France is nothing short of breathtaking with the rocky cliffs, and vibrant blue water of the Mediterranean Sea. I have never seen water so blue. I wish I could just sit for hours watching the foamy waves crest and hit the sides of the rock and spray water into the air...so relaxing and refreshing!

Along our journey plotting along in our very European manual shift car (side note people in France drive crazy!!!), we took a pit stop at one of the coastal towns for lunch...in France eating is another form of sightseeing in itself. Each time we ate it took us each awhile to decide which item on the menu we would choose this time and when it arrived at the table we would all survey one another's meal hoping to get a bit of one another's decision. Oh the amazing food!!! I think Kyle ate his weight in cheese on the trip:)

We caught sight of this building built into the side of the cliff...so neat!
Even though we devoured our meals we still always had room for dessert

The boat reminded me of Nemo:)
