I know you might thinking that we went to France over a month ago, shouldn't I be done with all the France pictures?...Well, I promise this is the last of them and in addition to that I am about 5 or more posts behind on all the other stuff that has happened in between France and now...Kaleb's "field day," trips to the zoo, garden building, cousin graduating, grandparent visiting, and lake house going..phew! I am hoping things will slow down and I can enjoy the Summer with the boys playing in the water and soaking in the sun...here is to hoping!
Anyhow, on our way back to Paris we took a scenic detour to this beautiful chateau perched up on a hill. Yet again we weren't disappointed. Along with the chateau was a quaint and charming little village with amazing views and friendly people. We ate lunch at a cute cafe owned by a British gentlemen. It was our last big meal in France so we went all out with crepes for dessert. I love me so me crepes. After lunch we toured the chateau. It is amazing to think that even though this chateau was considered the nicest of homes back in the day, that how primitive it was and how spoiled we are today.
